Welcome to Big Art Regeneration & Transformation, The BART. Founded with a vision to regenerate ignored places and transform them with art, the Shrewsbury Gateway Tunnel mural is its inaugural project.

The BART aims to inspire the transformation of the dark corners of our towns and cities into vibrant hubs that everyone can enjoy and feel safe in. We achieve this through practical regeneration and meaningful art.

We’re giving everyone a say in how things happen, involving businesses and policymakers alongside local community members, from students to residents of the area. With inclusivity at its core, The BART is here for anyone who wants to see art change the places previously taken for granted.
